The concept illustration " You're Red, I'm Green" by Michael Gibbs portrays differences in
ethnicity. Red giraffes in the foreground and background of the illustration and a green giraffe to the left. The red giraffes are facing right and the green one is facing left. The heads of the red giraffes ( are facing up and down) gives the notion of looking down or away from someone who is different.  The concept in this illustration brings life to a feeling of being single out in a group; not only dealing with an issue of race but could possibly be representing similar subjects such as social issues (i.e. popularity amongst youth in and out of school.) On the other hand, it could be used as a positive message, for example daring to be different / going against the grain.In turn Gibbs 's illustration can be mulit-funcational with different concepts besides ethinicity.
